With the motto “Do small, change big, Doonited aims to anchor good values in society and motivate people to accomplish a good deed, every day. Doonited is the first platform to connect two strong trends with one another: social responsibility and social networks. With help from social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, the good deeds are being spread rapidly, and the user can connect friends to join the movement as well. The Berliner Social Business was founded in April 2011, with the idea being born two years earlier. Unlike other charity projects, Doonited is not about donations, but about performing good deeds. Doonited is convinced that everyone can do good if it is fun. The key is motivation! The team is led by the four initiators Oliver Stark, Christian Stromann, John Shaft and Marco Alberti, with the support from a variety of designers, programmers, marketing experts, consultants, agencies and musicians who all work together to make this happen.
